The Last Throwback Monday of 2018

Happy New Year's Eve everyone. I'm sorry the blog has been neglected this year.
Yes, I've used this song before but when NYE falls on a Monday... you GOT to use Mariah's Auld Lang Syne.
For 2019 I promise to get back onto my blogging game. In the meantime, you can catch all my pop-culture musings on Instagram @christinekaurdashian.
Thank you for another year and here's to 2019!

Good-Bye 2016: The Year I Got In Formation

2016 was definitely a year for some major upsets, sadness, surprises and just some bullshit. It did however bless us with some good music. Got us in formation, gave us ammunition to dislike Taylor Swift, Dralo, Mariah's back and I finally got to fulfill my resolution and goal since I was 13 year old of going to Miami.
Did you know Ashanti & JA Rule had a mini-tour? Well, they did and I went.
JA Rule taking me back to my High School days.

Summer Sixteen Tour with Drake's fine body.
My squad and I posted at the Versace mansion in Miami
First time at the Bottlerock music festival in Napa with the Red Hot Chili Peppers
I finally go to see a live showing of The Read!
Kim Kardashnguyen and got in formation TWICE! #BLESSUP
I WAS THIS CLOSE TO BEYONCE!
Game 7 of the NBA Finals
At Mariah Carey's Vegas show after-party at 1OAK. Little did I know she was filming for her show
"Mariah's World"
Saint Pablo Tour. The rant was at a minimum and the show was LIT!
Happy New Year, friends. Please be safe and I wish you nothing but the best in 2017!
                                                                                XOXO

Kim Kardashian Doesn't Believe in New Year's Resolutions

This is it.
The end of 2015.
I must say 2015 was very good to me.
I got to go to Coachella for the first time. I turned 30 (yikes!). Completed my first Crossfit Open. Spent quality time with my family and nephews. Went to my first NBA Finals game (Go Dubs!). Interviewed Bollywood celebrities for a local film festival. Got re-tweeted by Kylie Jenner.
I'm excited to see what 2016 has in store.
Sure, when it comes to this time of year we all start thinking of resolutions...everyone except for Kim Kardashian.
The reality starlet released the following entry on her website explaining how she focuses on goals rather than resolutions.

Happy New Year everyone!

Throwback Monday

So, here we are...the end of another year. This song always gets me in my feelings no matter who sings it. I didn't mean to have back to back Mariah songs, but she just fit this time around. I hope you all have a safe and happy new year!

I cannot believe this year is over! So many things have happened this year.
  • Changed from: Around the Bay Gal to ChristineKaurdashian.com!
  • As soon as that ball dropped signifying the start of 2012, I was on the radio giving LIVE traffic reports. My first live-anchoring-gig.
  • Sadly, 2012 meant my first lay-off from said gig.
  • I went to Disneyland, L.A. (twice), Vancouver (twice) and Las Vegas (twice).
  • Won my first Associated Press Award.
  • Met some amazing people.
  • Made some new friends.
  • Met my "nieces and nephew" in L.A.
  • Was asked to be in a wedding for 2013.
  • Things I thought were over....weren't. :0)
  • Faced more of my fears and started to take more control of my life.
  • Learned a lot more about myself.
  • Fractured my forearm ice-skating.
  • Attended a real grown-up homemade Christmas Party thanks to Pique a boo
..................and many other things that I just can't even remember!

Here's to 2013, may the fabulousness continue!
