As a member of the lambily, it isn't lost on me what the rest of us are doing to boost Mother Mariah's old... and looked past albums.
A couple of weeks ago it was E=MC2 and now it's Charmbracelet.
While Charmie as Mariah call it came after her infamous breakdown on TRL, Mimi has always touted it as one of her faves.
So, to honor the album's resurgence here's my fave. It's a perfect message to remember during these unprecedented times.

Happy 2018 everyone! I apologize for being M.I.A over the blog, but due to the holidays and me being out of town, I needed time to relax. However, now I've been hit with a nasty cold that had me inside with mama and papa Kaurdashian on New Year's Eve! The plus side? I got to hang out with Britney and Mariah. Seeing Mariah totally redeem herself on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve was a site to kick-off 2018. It's only fitting to honor M.C for today's throwback.

Back in 2015 Mimi dropped a children's book based on her hit All I Want for Christmas is You.
Now she's just announced it'll be turned into an animated movie!

A day before Mariah dropped the video for her latest single I Don't, MC donned her finest body suit, fishnets, sneaker stilettos and her finest diamonds and decided to work out with Gunnar Peterson.
The water aerobics enthusiast decided to get her Khloe Kardashian on at Peterson's gym and...workout? Pose for a photoshoot? Or just straight troll us online while Mishka Bulochnikov (manager Stella's 13 year old daughter) snapped photos for the 'gram.
We all know this isn't Mimi's first time stuntin' while working out.
Who remembers Mariah's Cribs episode when she worked out in stilettos for the first time?
Then years later she and her puppy Jack shot this promo for MTV.

TMZ and other entertainment reports are saying Mariah Carey and her billionaire fiance James Packer have broken up. However, a lot of the reports are saying they may be trying to work it out.
Rumors have been swirling that Mimi's extravagant spending was to blame, while other reports are claiming it stemmed from an argument on a yacht in Greece where Packer did something "very bad" to Carey's assistant. Page Six sources a statement Mimi's camp sent to Entertainment Tonight saying: Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other
since. The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or
excessive spending by Mariah. James is one of the most successful
businessmen in the world. They are trying to work it out. Right now,
they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it, and
plan to release an official statement together about their future.
Other gossip is that Mimi's relationship with one of her backup dancers on her upcoming reality show for E! was to blame, Packer's mom didn't like her and she didn't support Packer when he attended his sister's 50th birthday.
Some reports are pro-Mimi and anti-Packer claiming the 46 year old songstress claims the 49 year old Aussie billionaire hasn't been mentally present and Mariah's been feeling abandoned.
Regardless, over the weekend at Mariah's halloween party, Packer was noticebably absent while Nick Cannon was there with dem babies.
Mariah and James met at a movie premiere in Colorado in 2014 and became engaged in January. This would've been the 3rd marriage for both of them.
Mimi has been famously married to Sony music exec Tommy Mottola and then later Nick Cannon. James' exes aren't relevant here.
Here's hoping the couple make it work and this is all just rumors.
So, over the weekend I was FINALLY able to see Mariah live in Vegas and even attended her wrap party at 1OAK, where I literally died because she was just feet away from me. (peep the pic below)
Vegas is the perfect venue for Mimi, she literally gets carried almost everywhere onstage...I wish that was my life!

Fox says Mariah Carey is joining the cast of American Idol as the new judge. According to the Associated Press:
Fox entertainment chief Kevin Reilly announced her signing to a meeting of the Television Critics Association on Monday, and then put Carey on speaker phone to confirm the deal.
"I am so excited to be joining `American Idol,"' she said. "This kind of all just happened really quickly." Earlier this month, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez said they were leaving "American Idol" after two years as judges. Carey had been courted by "Idol," and as one of music's best-selling singers she could bring the star power it needs to compete with rivals like "The X Factor," which recently added Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges. Earlier Monday, veteran "Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said there's a slender possibility that Jennifer Lopez might return. His reasoning: Since she told "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest she was 99 percent sure she was leaving, that means there's a 1 percent chance she won't, Lythgoe said Monday. He said he hoped that was the case, although Lythgoe also told a meeting of the Television Critics Association that he thought the show should be freshened each season with new judges. Lopez's representative, Mark Young, said July 13 that she's leaving "American Idol," following rocker Steven Tyler out the door after two years. That leaves original judge Randy Jackson. Fox did not immediately respond to Lythgoe's remarks.
