Throwback Monday

On Super Bowl Sunday, some on the internet declared the day as Janet Jackson Appreciation Day following her announcement on social media that she wouln't be performing alongside Justin Timberlake during his halftime performance.
Yes, I did watch JT's performance and I did enjoy it. Could he have done more? Sure! Should he have brought Janet out? YES! So, here's a JDJ classic we can call enjoy.

Justin Timberlake is "Filthy" in 2018

Dressed like Steve Jobs and announcing a dancing robot, that looks like Will Smith's iRobot, JT is bringing Filthy back in this Mark Romanek directed video.
Filthy is Timberlake's first single and music video off of his new album Man of the Woods. In the promos to the video, the Sexyback singer advises "this song should be played very loud."

When he finally returned to music in 2013 he gave us the 20/20 Experience with a corresponding LP came out later that year.
So, we've been almost 5 years without new music from the former *NSYNC-er, and with him performing at this year's Super Bowl Half-Time show, we NEEDED new material.
Timberlake released the track list to MOW and I cannot wait to hear more!

Just Timberlake Returns to Half-Time Stage for Super Bowl LII

SportsIllustrated.com
It was the wardrobe malfunction heard around the world. Actually, many of us didn't even know the phrase wardrobe malfunction until the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake.
14 years after #Nipplegate, Timberlake will once again perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
Timberlake made the announcement via social media alongside pal, Jimmy Fallon.

In an interview with NBC Sports' Mike Tirico, Timberlake says there won't be another malfunction.

I'm looking forward to this. Timberlake has definitely matured from his last Super Bowl performance and hopefully has learned to no longer throw legends under the bus.
