Surprise Kanye Concert Sparks Chaos in NYC's East Village

Kanye attempting to get into Webster Hall

More than 4,000 Yeezus fans swarmed New York's East Village and Webster Hall to get a glimpse of Kanye after he announced a surprise 2am concert.

West was in NYC to headline the Governors Ball but it was cancelled because of the weather. To make use of his time, he made a guest appearance at Hot 97's Summer Jam and performed alongside Big Sean and Pusha T and even performed  his new song Champions from the G.O.O.D Music collaborative Cruel Winter.

To keep the party going, a tweet went out about a pop-up concert at Webster Hall at 2am. When news broke, fans were lining up around the block to snag a ticket to see the show. Keep in mind, Webster Hall only holds 1,500 people. 90 minutes before showtime the line was 2 blocks away!
Twitter was blowing up by the amount of people starting to gather.

By 1am Yeezy announced the concert had been sold out, and then Webster Hall tweeted this:

There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely.

So, all in all the show was cancelled due to public safety concerns. Yeezy did attempt to pull up and try to make this happen, but alas it couldn't.

Regardless of the mob, the chaos, people getting hurt and climbing scaffoldings in NYC, West's squad couldn't believe the madness praising the rapper.

Bad Boy Reunion and Janet Jackson Honored at 2015 BET Awards

Lastnight the BET Awards celebrated the 20th anniversary of Bad Boy Records *yes, I feel old too* by having a Bad Boy reunion complete with Diddy dancing around, Ma$e, Faith Evans, 112, Lil' Kim, Pharrel, French Montana and a tribute to Biggie.
It was like 1997 all over again.

The feels this performance gave me was unreal! Also, Diddy fell *hide your laughter*

Then to top it off, Janet Jackson was awarded the Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award with a spectacular performance by Tinashe, Jason Derulo and Ciara. Even though those names usually annoy me...they really turned it out for this performance and made Miss Jackson proud.

J.Lo Debuts New Video of "I Luh Ya Papi"

In between being a mom and a judge in American Idol, America's favorite Fly Girl debuted the music video for her latest single I Luh Ya Papi ft. French Montana.
This isn't your normal J.Lo music video. She turns the tables on typical rap videos, which usually showcase women half-naked while the male rappers spit their lyrics around them wearing copious amounts of bling on a yacht or mansion.
Instead Jennifer Lopez is the main guy..err...woman in the video and there is PLENTY of male eye-candy.

New Music: Pop That- French Montana ft. Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne and Drake

I love this song and am so happy a video has finally been made for it! I cannot wait until they play this song in the club! Definitely going to be my summer anthem this year.
However, I do feel a little out of shape considering the numerous close-ups of all the video vixens.

Mobwives' Drita in New French Montana Video

Mobwives has become my new favorite show. Besides Big Ang, I love Drita! She's one of my favorite characters. I just love her badass attitude.

She is a huge rap fan, and plays a small role in the new French Montana video Everything's A Go. It's a hot song and the video has cameos from various hot rappers in the game. Montana is a artist with Bad Boy, so I'm surprised Diddy and his attention whore-ing ass isn't creeping in this video.
This isn't Drita's first time appearing in a music video. Remember Frankee's F U Right Back?
Yeah, I vaugely remember that song as well. But peep the video to jog your memory and find Miss D'avanzo.
