Meek Mill Released From Prison

After almost six months behind bars, Philly rapper Meek Mill is a free man.
On Tuesday, Pennsylvania's Supreme Court ordered Mill to be released on bail, while he appeals his case.
The case is a 2008 drugs and weapons case.
He served 8 months in prison however probation seemed to linger over him.
Fast forward to November 2017, when a judge sentenced Mill to 2-4 years for violating probation.
Citing two arrests..one being a reckless driving charge while shooting a music video.
Since Mill's November arrest, he garnered support from members of his community and in Hollywood; citing the country's unjust criminal justice system.
Jay-Z wrote an Op-Ed piece for the New York Times on this matter. Rick Ross, T.I., comedian Kevin Hart, 76ers owner Micheal Rubin and others have all spoken out and hollered Free Meek!
Close to 7pm, Tuesday evening, Mill bounced from the  Pennsylvania State Prison in Chester and hopped on a helicopter.
From there he was joined by Rubin and headed straight to the 76ers playoff game to ring the ceremonial bell.

Meek posted on social media how he felt about the ruling:

I’d like to thank God, my family, and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time. While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive.

Nicki Minaj Responds to Remy Ma Diss with Beyonce IG Post

It was only a matter of time before Remy Ma was to finally go in on Nicki Minaj. Since her release from being in prison, everyone was curious as to how Remy and Kim would get along.
At first things seemed cool, Remy even congratulated Nicki on winning BET' Female Rapper of the Year", then on Phresher's Wait a Minute  (Remix) Remy raised eyebrows by her line:
Will I smoke this bitch? / Yes” and “That ghostwriter ’bout to call her / That lifeline getting shorter / R.I.P. Biggie Smalls, why the f*ck they ain’t want her

We were all wondering if this was about Nicki or not...

Fast forward to February 24th,  Gucci Mane released Make Love featuring Nicki, and it’s pretty evident she’s talking about Remy with the line Oooohhh, oh you the qu-e-e-the queen of this here? One platinum plaque, album flopped, bitch, where? (bitch, where?)”

Then that's when Remy released her beast titled ShEther famously paying homage to Nas' diss track Ether fired at JayZ way back when they had beef. Ether is the epitome of rap diss tracks.

This diss track is 6 minutes of pure fire.
Keep in mind this is the SECOND female rap legend to go after Nicki with a diss. Remember Lil' Kim's Black Friday back in 2010?
There's no hook, no celebrity features....just FULL hip-hop! She beings the track with an old recording of Nicki yelling Free Remy!

Remy fires the ultimate shots by mentioning her relationship with her YMCMB family, her exes Meek Mill and Safaree, her butt and her wardrobe choices.
The diss includes lines like

Then in a turn of events, somehow Trey Songz was involved.
IDK about that one, but regardless I'm hoping Nicki takes this beef off of social media and to the studio.
All rap fans who've been fans of Nicki prior to Pink Friday have been waiting for the old Nicki to come back and by actually rapping. No gimmicks.

Maybe this will light a fire under her.

For years Drake and Nicki Minaj have been teasing us about getting together and not getting together. Drizzy told the world he'd marry her, Nicki gave him a lapdance, but then Nicki was tied down to her longtime boo Safaree and Drake dated everyone else and put us on a roller coaster ride of emotions with Rihanna.
Then Nicki got with Philly rapper Meek Mill who started a losing beef with Drake after the Degrassi alum murdered him on his diss track Back to Back. Then we were presented with Abrih then DraLo while Nicki decided to dump Meek...and now on the 'gram the pair are taking a selfie.
Look, i'm just as confused as you all are, but one thing is for sure...MEEK IS NOT HAPPY.

On his odd instagram account he reposted the photo of the pair with the caption:

Nicki Minaj fans are freaking out and rightfully so.
We haven't heard any new music from her in a minute.
About two weeks ago, the Pink Friday rapper released a freestyle via SoundCloud rapping over Rae Sremmurd's Black Beatles beat.
IT.WAS.FIRE.
Now fast-forward to today, and Miss Minaj released a mixed and mastered version to Tidal and it can now be purchased on iTunes as well.
The freestyle takes shots at President-elect Donald Trump with the line : “Island girl, Donald Trump want me go home/Still pull up with my wrist looking like a snow-cone.”
This isn't the first time Nicki colloborated with Rae and it was a hot track.
Back in 2014 the three of them collaborated on a remix for No Flex Zone.

Well, it seems like Drizzy has put all those hilarious Meek vs. Drake memes to good use.
Opening his OVO Fest set on Monday, Drake bodied Meek by performing Back to Back while- what looked like- a power point presentation of all the hilarious memes bodying Meek played in the background.
It was like a diss-slide show.
 Earlier that day Drizzy was seen sporting a Free Meek Mill  tee while doing a sound check of the performance.

Drake Watch: New Meek Mill Diss "Back to Back" is Fire

Okay, so once upon a time...aka last week Nicki and Taylor Swift had beef over Nicki's VMA tirade. They've since settled the said beef.
The same day? Meek called out Drake for not writing his own raps and so and so forth.
For a while the streets were quiet, then Drizzy dropped "Charged Up" but it just didn't hit hard enough. Meek called it baby lotion.
So, he played like his 'mentor' Aaliyah and dusted himself off and tried again and came back with Back to Back and we're all satisfied.
Some of the jabs stabbed at Meek were making fun of him for opening up for Nicki's Pink Print Tour.
"You love her then you gotta get a world tour / Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?/ I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more,"

Tracklist Released for Nicki Minaj's "Pink Print" Album

It's been a minute since Nicki's released a new album and after a push back, the new album is due out by December 15th.
Nicki released the back over of the album on Instagram, “So excited to share the official track listing for #ThePinkprint,” she wrote.

There are 19 tracks total on the album, and have some heavy players making guest appearances like Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Jeremih, Meek Mill, Skylar Grey, Chris Brown and of course her YMCMB brothers, Wayne and Drake.
