So, my family has discovered One Tree Hill a million years later thanks to Netflix.
The other day I overheard this song and totally got mid-00's nostalgia.
It's like I could feel my skinny jeans turning into flares and and my sneakers turning into Sketchers.

Jem and the Holograms Trailer

It's finally here! The official trailer for the "Jem and the Holograms" movie...and it's nothing like what I was expecting.
I wanted big pink 80s hair, the Misfits to be at war with Jem and Synergy her computer who gave her her powers!
This is millennial Jem and she's discovered via YouTube.
Basically smashing all my hopes and dreams to see my favorite movie on the big screen.
Of course, I'm still going to see it...but she's not Jem to me.
Like, where is the TRULY OUTRAGEOUS theme song!?
The movie will be in theaters October 23rd. 

Iggy Azalea's "Pretty Girls" video ft. Britney Spears

Okay, in theory this song and video should be amazing but it's not.
Britney looks gorg and so does Iggy, but the song sounds like every other I-G-G-Y song and the concept of the video is stupid.
Basically, Britney is this Valley Girl who is chillin' outside when a spaceship carrying Iggy crashes into her swimming pool.
Then she gives her a makeover *Hello, Clueless aka Fancy*
Then becomes one of them "pretty girls".
Also, watch the video....Britney's weave disappears and reappears.
C'mon guys!
 
Regardless, Britney's actually dancing in this video which is a win-win for all.

New Music: "Everyday" - A$AP Rocky Song Ft. Rod Stewart, Miguel and Mark Ronson

If you didn't know how much I loved Rod Stewart, now you do.
He's so loved in my family, it's like he's an honorary member.
So, today when I found out through the Twitterverse that he's featured on a song with A$AP Rocky, I was so excited.
Hip-hop and Rod!? Sure, it's a hook from one of his older songs....but I'll take it.
My two favorite things!
On his latest singl Everyday it features Rod as well as Miguel and Mark Ronson.
It's a great track.

This song will be on Rocky's highly anticipated second album At. Long. Last. A$AP. Rocky.
