TJ and Kim were high school sweethearts and he was in an R&B group with his brothers.
The group was called 3T and featured TJ, Taj and Taryll Jackson. They're all Tito's kids.

Hip-hop's famous couple has welcomed their bundle of joy.
Cardi B and Offset welcomed baby girl Kulture Kiara Cephus on July 10th.
Yes, that's right.
She's named after her daddy's group's top selling albums.
Who can blame them. The first of the Culture series gave us Bad & Boujee.
According to Cardi's IG post (see below) any other name would've been basic. 
Baby Kulture's birth comes two weeks after Bartier Cardi and OFFSET! (Quavo voice) revealed they tied the knot back in September in a basic... basic ceremony.

Rapper XXXtentacion Dies

Sad news for the hip-hop world.
20 year old rapper, XXXtentacion, was shot and killed in South Florida today.
The Florida native was leaving a motorsport store this afternoon when two men in SUVs shot and killed him, in an apparent robbery.
The rising rap star was known for the song Look at Me and others.
He was known recently for a domestic violence case involving his pregnant girlfriend.
Rappers took to social media to honor the fallen star.

Beyonce & Jay-Z Drop Surprise Joint Album

 WE FINALLY HAVE IT.
After seeing the spoilers online of the OTR II tour, I was upset because I saw similarities from the Formation Tour and Beychella performances.
I found it hard to believe that Bey and the Carters would do us in the hive like this.
BUT ALAS...
I was proven wrong and I coudn't have been happier.
The album, Love Is Everything,  dropped and I was in the middle of a baby shower of my good friend's. So, I wasn't able to indulge until later.
The songs are a grown and mature vibe from Bey and HOV.
Gone are the poppy tunes of Crazy In Love and Upgrade U and more of a raw sound. More Drunk In Love. 
The songs address more political and social issues. The NFL. Cultural appropriation. Jay's love affair. Their kids. ETC.
I admit, it was a little slow at first. But it grew on me when I heard the songs I liked. 
So, what are my fave songs?
I LOVE APESHIT. 
The Carters forced us to go APESHIT when they dropped the amazing video for the song.
The video was filmed in the Louvre. THE MUSEUM, GUYS!!!

The Carters have definitely grown up.
They don't need to sell for the masses anymore.
They don't need to worry about making money... they can make the music they want to make.
In the photos surfaced on social media from the tour and the tour book, the couple is more open. They seem to be in a better place and finally letting us all in.

Well, KKW didn't like that and took to twitter to clear the air. It all started with these tweets from Rhymefest.... don't worry.. I didn't know who he was either.

Kanye and Donda started a charity called Loop Dreams. When Donda passed, they changed the name to Donda’s House. Kanye paid Rhymefest a salary to run it.

Meek Mill Released From Prison

After almost six months behind bars, Philly rapper Meek Mill is a free man.
On Tuesday, Pennsylvania's Supreme Court ordered Mill to be released on bail, while he appeals his case.
The case is a 2008 drugs and weapons case.
He served 8 months in prison however probation seemed to linger over him.
Fast forward to November 2017, when a judge sentenced Mill to 2-4 years for violating probation.
Citing two arrests..one being a reckless driving charge while shooting a music video.
Since Mill's November arrest, he garnered support from members of his community and in Hollywood; citing the country's unjust criminal justice system.
Jay-Z wrote an Op-Ed piece for the New York Times on this matter. Rick Ross, T.I., comedian Kevin Hart, 76ers owner Micheal Rubin and others have all spoken out and hollered Free Meek!
Close to 7pm, Tuesday evening, Mill bounced from the  Pennsylvania State Prison in Chester and hopped on a helicopter.
From there he was joined by Rubin and headed straight to the 76ers playoff game to ring the ceremonial bell.

The hit single was most of our first introduction to Gaga, which later we became her monsters and she our mother.
Gaga's grown quite a bit in this decade.

I was drawn to Lady Gaga immediately because of her avant-garde look and she reminded me of my childhood idol, Jem.

Cynthia Nixon Announces She's Entering NY Governors Race

Today, actress Cynthia Nixon of Sex and the City fame announced she's running for governor of New York.
She posted the video below on social media.
She captioned the video with:

I’ve spent my whole life in New York -- this is where I met my wife, where I’m raising my kids, where I’ve fought for 17 years for better schools, better health care, and LGBTQ equality. While I'm trying to make a living and do my day job, I was inundated with texts, Instagram DMs and articles alluding to Beyonce and Jay-Z going on tour together.
Yes, it's being dubbed On the Run 2!
So, the internet is saying Beyonce's Facebook peeps goofed up and accidentally put out an announcement for OTR2, but then promptly took it down.
Now, we know the Carters must have something in the works as Bey is about to do Coachella, they just dropped Top Off with Future and Khaled. 
But another OTR? I'd be down.

Now excuse me while I pick up another job....or 3 to get these coins together.
SMDH, regardless of this mistake the Carters are basically telling us to get in formation.

Kylie Jenner Confirms Pregnancy and Gives Birth to Baby Girl

We knew it.
They knew we knew.
But no one would spill the beans.
...until Super Bowl Sunday!!!
In a post via social media, because where else?
Kylie came from out of hiding and posted a message to her fans along with a video on YouTube revealing that she was indeed pregnant AND already had the baby earlier in the week.

I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

The 11 1/2 minute video titled "To Our Daughter"  chronicles Kylie's relationship with rapper Travis $cott, first narrated by her BFF Jordyn Woods. The video contains interviews with her friends and family. Jenner started dating the Goosebumps singer around April 2017....kind of around Coachella.
Beware, this video gives you all the feels!

Even little Chicago West made a debut! Baby Chi and Kylie's babe are 2 weeks apart, and with Khloe being due in April, there's no doubt these little baby will be tight with her two cousins.
We still do not know the baby's name, but we do know her birthday and that she weighed 8lb 9oz.

Back in September 2017, right before Labor Day weekend, the internet was abuzz that the youngest KarJenner was expecting. Then, a few weeks later it was rumored that big sis Khloe was as well.
In December, Khloe announced to the world that the rumors were true...on her end. However, there was still nothing from Kylie.
There was the Christmas card....still nothing.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians season premiere....still nothing
Some wondered if Kylie will just come out of hiding after the baby was born, and they were right.

Last but not least, Caitlyn Jenner took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message about her newest granddaughter.

Kim Kardashian West Posts NSFW Photos and Lindsay Lohan Feels a Type of Way

On Monday afternoon Kim Kardashian West went on a photo-posting spree on Instagram with a bevy of photos of her sporting a g-string, white Henley, beaded braids and a flawlessly made up face.
Kim teased the shoot a few days earlier on Snapchat with a racy photo that's similar to the one above.

Okay, Kim we get it!
You look great and we all want to hire Melissa as our trainer! But I totally don't get what these photos are for and why she's in a basic AF bedroom.

Judging by those tagged in this shoot, these aren't basic Polaroids during a raunchy weekend in a motel.
Before we get into the shoot, a couple things got the internet upset over these photos...and it wasn't because of lack of clothing.

Some felt by Kim saying the braids were paying homage to 70's actress Bo Derek is incorrect. Critics say these are actually cornrows and that hairstyle has been around for YEARS before Derek debuted them in the 70's film 10.
Actually, back in 2015 Derek came to the rescue to fellow KarJenner sister, Kylie, who sported cornrows and was accused of cultural-appropriation. To that, Derek claimed it was stupid and it's just a hairdo. But is it though!?

Others say these are in fact, African braids called Fulani braids.
The hairstyle has been popular among Fulani people in West Africa and East Africa for centuries.

If that wasn't enough, when Perez Hilton posted a photo of Kim's selfie donning the braids, Lindsay Lohan claimed her look was confusing, to which KKW clapped back.....hard by commenting, "you know whats confusing...your sudden foreign accent."
The internet and even Perez DIED at the exchange.

Peep the other photos Kim bombarded us with on Instagram on Monday afternoon. I can't hate, her body does look amazing....but the poses and what-not.....make me....uncomfortable. Maybe it will all make sense once we see the shoot.
