New Music: Mindless Behavior

I've been bumping this song for the past couple of days...and am not at all ashamed.
The little babies of Mindless Behavior have impressed me with this track featuring Diggy Simmons (Rev Run's son).

However, I do feel these widdle guys are too young to sing about finding Mrs. Right by flying all over the world to find her.....just sayin'.

God, I miss being a kid! These guys' posters would have definitely been plastered on my wall.

R.I.P. Tupac.....15 years later

Man, does time fly!

15 years ago Tupac Shakur passed away, but with the amount of music left behind you kind of forget.
Kind of.

It's amazing how his legacy has managed to live on for 15 years....and possibly forever. Kind of like the Elvis for hip-hop music.

I remember being 10 years old and on the verge of tears when I heard the news.
To this day I really don't know why I was so sad....I was only 10 years old, after all.

To honor Mr. Shakur.....let's "pour out some liquor and reminisce."

10 years later.....

From: http://aedmundo.tumblr.com/
Ten years ago I was a junior in high school getting ready to go to school. Like every morning, I would get dressed while listening to The Doghouse....a local radio station's morning show. I was trying to figure out what the DJs were talking about. I had no idea what the World Trade Centers were...embarassing, I know.

That day at school was a somber one. My Spanish teacher made us all stand in a circle and hold hands and told us how much she loved us. Other classes were spent talking about what had happened, the television in every classroom was turned on to the newsm and teachers explained who Osama bin Laden was.

Crazy how one morning can change the country and so many lives. I've never seen so much patriotism in my life....I had never felt so proud to be an American.

We can always be sad and furious at those inhumane humans who did this to us, or we can choose to see this as a victory. We didn't falter after those attacks were made....we could have easily thrown our hands in the air....been afraid to fly....and targeted every person who looked like a terrorist....but we didn't.

Sure, justice was done just a few months ago when bin Laden was killed.
However our true victory was when brave men and women went into that burning building to save people they didn't know. Those bad-ass passengers on Flight 93 who didn't go down without a flight, possibly preventing their flight from going into the Capitol. Kind civilians who opened their homes to those in need....THAT'S A VICTORY.

We got the ultimate revenge.

Kris Jenner "Loves her Friends"

If you thought it was highly irrevelevant for Kim Kardashian to have a single on iTunes produced by The Dream without even having an album....think again.

Back in 1985, Mama Kardashian (Kris Jenner) starred in her own music video for her 30th birthday professing her love for her friends....The Cheesecake Factory and Valentino...among other things.

The video features cameos from O.J. Simpson, the late-Nicole Brown Simpson and....MICHAEL JACKSON!?!

Okay, the Kardashian Klan is officially making me sick.
Take a look!
This video is my age.
