The Cast of the "Jersey Shore" Reunites for "Jersey Shore Family Vacation:

2018 is promising us a lot.
First it was a royal wedding, now it's the return of the Jersey Shore.
If you know me at all , you know I was a diehard fan of the  Shore, and now my faves are reuniting for another installment called Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
The gang that brought GTL, grenade, guido, guidette, and fist-pumping into your vocabulary are reuniting and I couldn't be happier.
Most of the cast is returning with the exception of Sammie Sweetheart Giancola. Hopefully it's on Thursdays, because I need a return of Jerzdays in my life.
On Monday during the premiere of Floribama Shore, a spinoff of the original Jersey Shore, MTV announced the return of our fave GTL-ers.
Jersey Shore ran on the network from 2009 to 2012. The series followed the adventures of the group of 20-somethings as they spent summers in the beach town of Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
It also gave birth to spin-offs like Snooki & JWoww and The Pauly D Project.

Obviously the premise of the show will be different from the episodes of Jerzdays past as Snooki and JWoww are moms. The Situation is sober. Deena is newly hitched. Pauly is pushing 40 and he has a kid. Vinnie is now 30 and Ron....well...he's no longer dating Malika, Khloe's BFF.
Regardless, these cast members do not lack in personality so I have no doubt it will be entertaining.
However, there may not be any of these moments anymore:

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle are Engaged!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first photo op in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.
The ring contains three stones. One from Botswana, where the couple vacationed and two are from his mother, Diana's, personal collection. *insert a long aww*

Wedding bells are in the future for Prince Harry and his girlfriend of over a year, Meghan Markle.
Clarence House, the official residence of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (aka Camilla Parker Bowles) announced the news.

The Prince proposed earlier this month and has informed the Queen and the rest of the royal family of the good news. Once they pair marry, they will be the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The wedding will take place in the Spring of 2018, around the same time Royal Baby #3 is due.
Later today, the couple will take their photos and also do an interview. Harry asked Markle's parents for permission, and they are, obviously, thrilled with the news. They released this statement:

The Royal family is equally thrilled and made their happiness known via social media posts.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said of the engagement:

know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.'

Markle, a 36 year old American actress known for her role in Suits started dating the 33 year old Prince back in the Summer of 2016. It is believed they met in Toronto, where Markle was living for a time.
Interesting. Finding love. In Summer '16 in Toronto. Is there a Drake connection here?

Both William and Harry ended up settling down with commoners, is interesting to note. These aren't the Royals from their parent's or grandparent's time.
Markle is the first American to marry into the Royals since 1936, when Edward VIII gave up the throne to marry American divorce Wallis Simpson. She's also of mixed race, a divorce herself and is independently wealthy.

Serena Williams married her fiance Alexis Ohanian in a star-studded ceremony in New Orleans.
The November 16th nuptials between the 23-time Grand Slam champ and the Reddit CEO was a real-life fairy tale wedding. The whole affair was French ball theme and with Beauty and the Beast style decor. Be Our Guest played for guests as they were led into the reception. The couple had their first dance to Tale as Old as Time. 
Williams sported an Alexander McQueen creation, while her man wore an Giorgio Armani suit. Of course, 2-month old Alexis Olympia Ohanian was there to witness her parents tying the knot in a gorgeous dress of her own.
Vogue magazine posted the photos and of course so did the happy couple on the good ol'
gram.
Yes, Beyonce was there.
