Jem and the Holograms Movie Coming to the Big Screen

Yes, this news broke a week ago but I'm still so excited! Christine Kaurdashian circa- 1988 is even more ecstatic.
Yes, the photos below are of two separate photos of me from Halloween 2012 and 2009 of my two favorite Jem characters. Hey! When Spirit Halloween has your favorite childhood cartoons' costumes...you gotta get it!
You can stop laughing now.

The music, outfits, makeup and drama- Jem was the perfect 80s cartoon for any girl. Watch any episode and it's basically the epitome of the 80s.
The beef between Jem and the Holograms and The Misfits was the constant theme of the show. Personally, I loved The Misfits songs and outfits, but loved Jem because.....well, she loved pink!

Just last week the 80s cartoon Gods answered my prayers and announced a Jem movie was in the works by Justin Beiber's manager Scooter Braun, G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu and Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blu.
The trio announced the news via YouTube and want the help of US! How so? Click the video below:
So, post you ideas, photos, videos, music and what-not on Tumblr or YouTube with #JemtheMovie

I'm so going to post my ideas on Tumblr now.

Throwback Monday

My gramama hate it, but my lil' mama love it!
Aw, I miss the days when Nelly was making music instead of Cherrios commercials.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye Land the April Cover of Vogue

eonline.com

Well, it finally happened....and we all know it was in due time.
The Bound 2 couple have some people pretty peeved that Anna Wintour okayed both Kanye and Kim for the April cover of Vogue.
Rumors for the past year swirled that Wintour did not want anything to do with Kardashian, but supposedly Kanye's campaign to have his baby-mama may have changed things.
However, Wintour put those rumors to bed with the following letter from the editor:

“Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?) As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancĂ©e on Vogue‘s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.”

Kanye and Kim look amazing in the Annie Leibovitz shoot and the behind-the-scenes video is adorable as it shows baby North West looking so adorable.

On twitter Kardashian gushed that this was a "dream come true", while others were not so excited. *ahem Sarah Michelle Gellar*

Yeezy seems like Kardashian's Fairy Godfather, making her wildest dreams a reality.

However Kardashian's BFF Jonathan Cheban quickly stepped in to defend Kim.

Regular Vogue subscribers were pretty upset at the move as well claiming that others deserved it more like Lupita Nyong'o to name a few. Interesting how Kanye has helped step up Kim's game in higher circles. Reminds me of Pretty Woman.

J.Lo Debuts New Video of "I Luh Ya Papi"

Jenny from the Block's still got it.
In between being a mom and a judge in American Idol, America's favorite Fly Girl debuted the music video for her latest single I Luh Ya Papi ft. French Montana.
This isn't your normal J.Lo music video. She turns the tables on typical rap videos, which usually showcase women half-naked while the male rappers spit their lyrics around them wearing copious amounts of bling on a yacht or mansion.
Instead Jennifer Lopez is the main guy..err...woman in the video and there is PLENTY of male eye-candy.
